Live Caption (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use our live caption and speech-to-text features.
Live Caption is designed to work with minimal data collection.
The App requests access to your microphone so it can listen to nearby speech and display it as large live captions.
Speech recognition is provided through Apple’s speech recognition technology. Audio and speech recognition requests may be processed by Apple in order to provide transcription. We do not operate our own speech recognition server, and we do not sell or use your speech data for advertising.
The App does not intentionally store your audio recordings or live captions after the captioning session ends.

If you purchase a subscription or lifetime access, payment is handled by Apple through the App Store.
We use RevenueCat to help manage subscription status and purchase entitlements. RevenueCat may process limited purchase-related information, such as product identifiers, transaction status, and anonymous app user identifiers, so that premium features can be unlocked correctly.
We do not receive or store your full payment card information.
